Harris even marched in a gay pride parade shortly after leaving his family. Not to be outdone, Hillsong worship leader, Marty Sampson, renounced his faith altogether on Instagram last year. (Heather Clark – Christian News) A study recently released by the Barna Group, led by longtime evangelical pollster George Barna, found that one-third of regular churchgoers questioned said that they did not watch services online and put church completely on pause during the apex of the pandemic. The number was even higher for those who identify as Millenials.
Barna published a report on Wednesday as part of its “New Sunday Morning” series, which analyzed church involvement during the pandemic. The research was conducted between April 28 and May 11 as 500 participants were asked about their church-related habits in the past month (late March – early April onward). Continue reading

(Fox News) Researchers at the Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan have found that early administration of the drug hydroxychloroquine makes hospitalized patients substantially less likely to die.
The study, published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases, determined that hydroxychloroquine provided a “66% hazard ratio reduction,” and hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin a 71 percent reduction, compared to neither treatment. Continue reading

(Beth Baumann – Townhall) Late Sunday night, two gunmen opened fire on a family barbequing in Brooklyn. One-year-old Davell Gardner Jr. was shot in the stomach while in his stroller.
