Southern Baptist Church Now Accepting Gay Church Members

The pastor said that addressing the sin of homosexuality was “not on his list” until someone asked if they could become a member while being a homosexual, at which point he decided that “silence is not golden.” Subsequently, because the struggle “had a face,” Conrad began to “study and pray,” at which point he began to question the teaching he had since a child, that “homosexuals were sinners.”

(Pulpit & Pen) A Southern Baptist church announced this past Sunday that it would warmly embrace homosexual church members or leaders. Back in pulpit after scandal, Tullian Tchividjian insists sex with former congregants was not abuse

The question that needs to be asked is who restored Tullian Tchividjian to ministry after he was very publicly defrocked? As Pulpit & Pen points out: “Certainly, Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church has not restored Tchividjian. His former pastor, Kevin Labby, has not restored Tchividjian. GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment) has not restored Tchividjian. The Presbyterian Church of America has not restored Tchividjian. The PCA’s South Florida Presbytery has not restored Tchividjian. So how on Earth did Tchividjian get restored?”

Once a pastor/shepherd is defrocked for committing an egregious sin against God, he is unqualified to lead, or in Tchividjian’s case “unfit for Christian ministry”….unless you happen to be the grandson of Billy Graham, and have an ego roughly the size of the Grand Canyon. Continue reading →

“Audiences think the queens are great performers first and foremost, with an interesting way of playing with gender, identity and sexuality. Through drag they can be fierce, sexual, wild, and they can express their ideas… For the audience to see a performer playing with gender, some people can feel uncomfortable because they don’t see people with Down Syndrome as sexual beings or someone who is connected to gender of sexual desire.”

Teacher Issues ‘Gender Unicorn’ Handout to Students on First Day of School to Explain Why He Goes By ‘Mx’

(Heather Clark – Christian News Network)  Some parents have expressed objection after a middle school teacher in California issued a “gender unicorn” handout to students on the first day of school to explain why he goes by the prefix “Mx.” rather than “Mr.”

Luis Davila Alvarado teaches science at Denair Middle School. Last week, he gave students a worksheet that features an image of a unicorn along with sections such as “gender identity,” gender expression” “sexually attracted to” and “emotionally attracted to.” The document comes from Trans Student Educational Resources. Christian Rocker Posts Stunning Response to Recent Apostasy of Christian Leaders

(Sampson has since slightly walked back his initial statement after Dr. Michael Brown posted an open letter challenging Sampson’s assertions.) Intersectionality assumes a kind of ungodly partiality that Christians are consistently warned away from in Scripture. We are not to judge a person based on their appearance, social strata, income, background, or ethnicity. Intersectionality insists that we can only understand ourselves and others through making judgments regarding ethnicity, background, income, social strata, and appearance. Intersectionality swaps out the idea of original sin for privilege, making all those with “privilege” the source of societal ills.

Hillsong Writer Marty Sampson Renounces His Faith on Instagram

The songwriter for the ‘Christian’ band Hillsong, recently announced his hardened disbelief on Instagram. Sampson’s song lyrics have been broadcasting his rejection of the true and living God found in the Bible for years, but gullible Evangelicals have shut their eyes and swayed to the music. The problem is, The Gospel Coalition isn’t really about the gospel — it’s about other things, like social justice, egalitarianism, LGBTQ activism, open borders and mass illegal immigration, theological liberalism, self-advancement, etc. The Gospel Coalition merely cloaks these causes in Christian-themed language, slaps the phrase “gospel-centered” on it, and brings aboard anyone who is willing to advance their cause — or at least act as a cloak for the gospel while The Gospel Coalition advances their own cause.

Famed Yale computer science professor quits believing Darwin’s theories

Gelernter said he likes many of his colleagues at Yale, that they are his friends, but when he looks at “their intellectual behavior, what they have published — and much more importantly what they tell their students — Darwinism has indeed passed beyond a scientific argument as far as they are concerned.
