Beth Moore Has Departed The Faith to Embrace Homosexuality

“Moore has openly embraced homosexuals while emphatically impugning and rebuking Bible-believing Christians who hold to a biblical position on homosexuality and other sound doctrines.”

(Jeff Maples – Reformation Charlotte)  If you think that is a big leap and jumping to conclusions, let’s examine the trajectory Beth Moore has been on for the last several months. Moore has always befriended homosexuals and LGBT activists, like Rachel Held Evans and Jen Hatmaker. She enthusiastically proclaims her dedication to them — that, despite the biblical command for Christians to do the exact opposite (1 Corinthians 5:11), she will break bread with them. Trump and America Vs. the Commie Quad Squad

“For those of you who believe the two parties still share common goals, I have a treasure chest of pyrite I would like to show you. Just consider the Democrats’ extreme position on abortion, open borders, sanctuary cities, guns, judicial activism, the administrative state, Israel, the America-hating United Nations, socialism, universal health care, entitlements for illegal immigrants, radical environmentalism, forced income equality versus equality of opportunity, identity politics, radical gender ideology, intersectionality, toxic masculinity, multiculturalism, white privilege, reparations, cultural appropriation and patriarchy.”

(David Limbaugh – PJ Media)  In one sense, the Commie Quad Squad (CQS) has done us all a favor by flushing out the extremism of the Democratic Party for conspicuous public display. Continue reading

The Left is following Communism’s playbook for revolution

“To be clear, I don’t say that those fomenting this are “Marxists.” Doctrinaire Marxism is, well, so yesterday. Leftists epitomize the moral relativism imbuing our age and, as such, worship the Gods of the Shifting Goalposts. Oh, they’re not better than Marxists (they may be worse), but they have made a lateral move in lunacy. Today they’re sort of like the Marquis de Sade meets Stalin and the Stasi.”

(Selwyn Duke – The New American)  We Americans are currently in a civilizational state historians William Strauss and Neil Howe would call the “Third Turning”: an unraveling.  The so-called Left is making it happen, too, with conservatives enabling it by conserving yesterday’s liberalism and being those nice guys who finish last. Has the PCA Become A De Facto ‘Side B’ Church?

“So what proponents of the “Side B” position in the PCA are demanding is either that we join them in burning the pinch of incense and saying, “Side B is good” or that we silently submit to the de facto position. They have in essence declared that for someone to respond publicly to TE Johnson in a positive “Pro,” affirmative way is wonderful, but to respond publicly to TE Johnson in a negative, non-affirming way is sinful and unacceptable.”

(Andy Webb – The Aquila Report)  When Dr. Greg Johnson, a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, wrote an article in Christianity Today that began with his provocative confession, “Bill, I’m Gay!” and then explained his “Side B Gay Christian” testimony at length, he publicly created a situation in which the entire PCA would have to respond…. The Cracks in the Edifice of Transgender Totalitarianism

“Western civilization is now gripped by a cultural cyclone that is blowing through such limitations with totalitarian force. Transgenderism has shaken the foundations of all we know to be true. Scientific knowledge is rejected and medical practice co-opted in service of a new “reality”—that “gender” is independent of sex, that males and females of any age, even young children, are entitled to their own transgender self-identification based only on their feelings, and that literally every individual and every segment of society must bow to their chosen identity at risk of losing reputation, livelihood, and even freedom itself.”

(Jane Robbins – The Public Discourse)  “What we live through, in any age, is the effect on us of mass emotions and of social conditions from which it is almost impossible to detach ourselves. Often the mass emotions are those which seem the noblest, best and most beautiful. And yet, inside a year, five years, a decade, five decades, people will be asking, ‘How could they have believed that?’ because events will have taken place that will have banished the said mass emotions to the dustbin of history.” –Doris Lessing, Prisons We Choose to Live Inside (1987) Continue reading

How Russell Moore is Causing the Border ‘Crisis’ He Complains About

“The news released today reveals even more information that Soros is intentionally trying to drive as many immigrants to the American border as possible. Then, he has his evangelical allies – orchestrated by Russell Moore – complain about their mistreatment, when our border accommodations are overwhelmed by their intentional instigation.”

(Pulpit & Pen)  Russell Moore doesn’t have time (apparently) to talk much about abortion or homosexuality these days, but he’s got lots of time to complain about the ‘unfair treatment” of criminals trying to unlawfully invade our sovereign borders. He also has time to talk about deepfake nudesArtificial Intelligencevirtual reality, and aliens…. Continue reading

Phil Pringle calls Hillsong leaders Brian & Bobbie Houston ‘major apostles’

“Of course it’s not surprising to see that description given by Phil Pringle – given these ‘major (super) apostles’ have long been claiming an ‘apostolic anointing’ for themselves.”

(Churchwatch Central)  Invited to preach at a recent Hillsong servicePhil Pringle described his close friends, Brian and Bobbie Houston, as ‘major apostles’. Of course this is ‘major’ New Apostolic Reformation terminology. This description comes from a man also described as an ‘apostle’ within his own C3Global movement.  Continue reading

The Truth

“Charlatans like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren tell us that the federal government will provide for children who are mistreated by their parents.  That is a false promise.  But Republicans are misleading the country too, by failing to actively promote good parenting and self-reliance based on smart, disciplined behavior.”

(Bill O’Reilly)  Bad parenting, not capitalism, is the main cause of “income inequality” in America.  The left, including liberal educators, media, and politicians will never admit that, but it’s absolutely true.

How To Confront And Cross Examine Incompetent Marxist Educators

“There are many questions that can be used to plant a stone in the shoe of students while undermining the efficacy of the indoctrinator who is posing as an educator. In fact, I have several that I provide for students who are forced to take the classes taught by the committed Marxists in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at UNC-Wilmington (where I teach).”

(Mike S. Adams – Daily Wire)  Each summer, I spend several months at Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs, Colorado. While I am here, I give pro-life lectures as well as lectures on student free speech rights…. Continue reading

What Every American Should Know About The Assault On Chick-Fil-A

“The superficial reason for the bans against Chick-fil-A is a ThinkProgress report that criticized the owners of the restaurant for their private donations to the Salvation Army, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Paul Anderson Youth Home.”

(Craig Huey – My Christian Daily)  Across America, Chick-fil-A is under attack…

Schools, airports and cities are trying to ban the chicken restaurant.

Why?

Because its owners, who are Christians, make private donations to pro-life, pro-traditional marriage organizations. Horrors! Continue reading

Epstein, Bean & Buck: The Democratic Donors’ Sex-Creep Club

“Bean wriggled out of prosecution by publicly dangling $220,000 a cash “compromise” with the alleged victim, who then suddenly refused to testify against him. A judge in the county where the politically influential Bean family reigned, promptly dismissed the charges. Case closed? Not so fast.”

(Michelle Malkin – Daily Wire)  Well, well, well. “Follow the facts,” Democratic strategist Christine Pelosi now advises fellow liberals in the wake of billionaire and high-flying political financier Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex trafficking indictment this week. Some of “our faves” could be implicated in the long-festering scandal, the Pelosi daughter warned, so it’s time to “let the chips fall where they may.” Continue reading

Why Do We Need Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms?

“A creed or confessional statement gives clear affirmations of what a church believes, and equally clear denials of what that church does not believe. Without this clarity, it is all too easy to sneak false teaching into the church, or to fail to give people the full counsel of God from the Scriptures.”

(Jacob Gerber)  By the grace of God, I grew up in churches that loved the Bible. I have vivid memories of hearing God’s word read, sung, and preached every week. I memorized a good portion of the Bible through AWANA. I still remember specific things I learned about the Bible in Vacation Bible School and Sunday School lessons. In high school, I was introduced to a regular Bible reading plan that I have used since 2000. Continue reading

Papal Paganism’s Kiss of Death

This most recent Interfaith attempt will celebrate Masonic and Islamic Sufist paganism infused by South American primitive animism and witchcraft. It is little wonder that the world-renowned Austrian Catholic philosopher, Dr. Josef Seifert (pro-life author of many noteworthy books on Catholic doctrine), seeing what the Pope is doing, has signed a petition calling on the bishops of the world to “investigate Pope Francis for heresy.”

(Peter Jones – truthxchange)  Pope Francis is walking away from most forms of historic Roman Catholicism, taking countless followers with him. Obviously Protestants do not accept works righteousness, the divinization of Mary, papal divine inspiration and many other Roman Catholic doctrines…. Continue reading

Founder of Young, Restless, and Reformed Movement Trashes Calvinism as ‘Garbage’

“Mark Driscoll, who spent his life at Mars Hill preaching and defending Calvinism, actually says that he doesn’t hold to the five points of Calvinism because they’re “garbage” and “not biblical.” What’s interesting is that his doctrinal shift (a term that keeps popping up lately) didn’t happen until his fall.”

(Jeff Maples – Reformation Charlotte)  One of the most notable problems within the Young, Restless, and Reformed (YRR) New Calvinist movement is the tendency to be tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine…. Continue reading

Better gear up for the 5 major changes coming to the Church (Reprise)

FLASHBACK FRIDAY

This article by CRN managing editor Marsha West was first published May 25, 2015.

John Burton has written a piece titled “Ancient and Emerging: 5 Major Changes Coming to the Church.”  Before you get all excited, or maybe even concerned over those changes, you should know a bit more about Burton.  As it turns out he’s a “prophet” in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) movement.   According to his blog, John Burton, he “has been developing and leading ministries for over 20 years and is a sought out teacher, prophetic messenger and revivalist. Burton has authored ten books, has appeared on Christian television and radio and directed one of the primary internships at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City.”

That Burton was associated with IHOP-KC could only mean that he has served under IHOP’s Pied Piper Mike Bickle.  I spent quite a bit of time researching Bickle for a piece I wrote and discovered his strong ties to the NAR or what some refer to as  Dominionism.  Also identified was his involvement with the Kansas City Prophets (KCP).  According to Pastor Ken Silva, the KCP:

brought grandiose claims that a ‘new breed’ of super prophets were beginning to arrive on planet earth who would change the world forever. These so-called prophets were a group of men that coalesced around a church known as the Kansas City Fellowship, pastored by Mike Bickle, that attracted a following of other likeminded churches in that region. (More on the KCP here)

It gets worse.  Mike Bickle believes that God speaks to him in an audible voice.  But here’s the kicker.  He has visited heaven – twice.  On one visit he told false teacher Bob Jones: Continue reading

Beth Moore Labels Christians Against Homosexuality, ‘Hyper-Fundamentalists’

“While some of us aren’t afraid of the term “fundamentalism,” for many evangelicals the term has a negative connotation. Essentially, Moore is insulting those of us who have a Biblical sexual ethic and is implying that we are all stuffy, KJV-only, kill-joys and party-poopers.”

(Pulpit & Pen)  In a continued social media meltdown, similar to the one that had the unstable and hysterical feminist take a break from Twitter back in May, Beth Moore labeled Christians explicitly opposed to homosexuality “hyper-fundamentalists.” Continue reading

Does Beth Moore really believe that homosexuality – not just the behavior, but the identity and desire – is a deadly sin?

“It is no secret that I have very serious concerns with Beth Moore. Many, many people do. Even if she were to (finally) make a strong and clear affirmation of what is truly a Christian sexual ethic on this issue, that would certainly be a welcome development but it would not allay the concerns with her poor hermeneutics, her allegorizing of scripture, her false claims of God speaking to her, her false claims of God giving her visions, and her endorsements of known false teachers. Those concerns are real and remain outstanding.”

(Justin Peters – Justin Peters Ministries)  I want to share my thoughts regarding Beth Moore’s blog post from July 6, 2019, in which she addressed her removal from her book, Praying God’s Word, (PGW) a 6 page section in which she described homosexuality as follows: Continue reading

The Forgotten Facts about Michael Brown of Brownsville

“While speaking at that Jerusalem gathering, Michael Brown proceeded to tell the attendees that “tonight,” that night, would be a “history-making” night insomuch as the Holy Spirit would descend in power and fire as earth-shaking and monumental as the literal day of Pentecost detailed in Acts, chapter 2. On a video of this speech in the presence of Israeli Messianic leaders including such leading scholars as Dr.  Arnold Fruchtenbaum who all witnessed the false prophetic predictions, Michael Brown went so far as to interpret the national disaster of forest fires destroying 20% of Israel’s reforested land as emblematic of the outpouring.”

(Sandy Simpson – Deception In The Church)  Dr. Brown has been making the rounds of evangelical church gatherings and conferences presenting himself as an authority on Judaism and the truth of Scripture…. Continue reading

Can We Slow The Speeding ‘Trans’ Train?

“Once upon a time, when children were confused about gender, doctors adopted a “watchful waiting” protocol, knowing that the child’s confusion might be caused by trauma, unresolved emotional issues, other developmental struggles or family problems. There was reluctance to rush into prescribing puberty blockers to be followed by opposite sex hormones and then, mutilating surgery, all severe treatments with lifetime implications.”

(Linda Harvey – Mission: America)  I have a dream.

In my dream, hundreds of parents, doctors, counselors, and pastors are protesting outside children’s hospitals throughout America. Continue reading

An Open Letter to Beth Moore – Timeline of Events

Michelle Lesley keeps us informed as to what has transpired since six Christian women published a letter to Beth Moore asking that she clearly state her view on homosexuality, as what she believes has “evolved” over the years. Under immense pressure, Beth has finally come out with a statement! Michelle shares her statement in the timeline. She writes:

Nearly three weeks ago, six Christian women (and nearly 500 subsequent signers) addressed An Open Letter to Beth Moore, asking five questions about her views on homosexuality:

  1. Do you believe homosexuality is inherently sinful?
  2. Do you believe that the practice of the homosexual lifestyle is compatible with holy Christian living?

  3. Do you believe a person who dies as a practicing homosexual but professes to be a Christian will inherit eternal life? Continue reading

Living Out – A Follow-Up and Call to Further Action

“Have all the objectionable resources that were exposed in your articles been removed from Living Out during the audit?  Answer: NO. Only two resources were removed and all of the resources quoted from the section above are presently live on their website. Although I trust that an audit is being carried out, this reckless and unbiblical teaching remains unedited for people to follow. (It is important to clarify that Sam Allberry does not have the sole authority to remove these resources.)”

The above quote was taken from a June 6 piece written by Tom Buck. A few days ago I checked his blog over at Alpha & Omega Ministries to see if he had written a second follow-up. Nothing yet.

Many people are unaware of the controversy that erupted over some of the articles posted on Living Out (LO), a website owned by three professing Christians who experience same-sex attraction (SSA), namely Sam Allberry, Sean Doherty and Ed Shaw.  According to LO’s site, these men have a desire to “bring out into the open the questions and dilemmas that gay Christians can often face.” Continue reading
