“The Bible calls us to a different standard. It speaks of sound teaching, equipping the saints for ministry, evangelism, and faithful Christian living. The Church’s role is not to conform to the world but to transform it through the power of the gospel.”
(The Dissenter) In a world increasingly seduced by the allure of modernity and comfort, Prestonwood Baptist Church’s [Senior Pastor Dr. Jack Graham] recent multi-million-dollar renovation epitomizes a troubling trend in contemporary Christianity—a shift from substance to spectacle, from doctrine to dazzle. This lavish expenditure on aesthetics and technology, while impressive in scale, raises serious questions about the church’s commitment to the core tenets of the gospel. Continue reading
Hamas relies on useful Western idiots. It understands its terrorists repel the majority of Americans. But it figures Western and globalist institutions—academia, the media, popular culture—in their wealth, ignorance, and self-importance, alleviate guilt and find resonance by mouthing the shibboleths of the “underdog.”
(Mary Dowling) According to an
(The Dissenter) Preston Sprinkle, the host of the podcast “Theology in the Raw,” an odd enough title for a podcast, I must say, recently hosted Dr. Jared Moore, pastor and author of the book, The Lusts of the Flesh. Moore’s book addresses the various false teachings that are pervasive within the Evangelical Church around aberrant sexuality, particularly the notion that one can sublimate their sinful sexual desires and sanctify them, turning them into something holy that can be offered back to God.
“This is tricky territory. The invisible and the unknown are realms governed by God alone, and these accounts are those on which the occult, the New Age, and false teachings thrive. There is no clear evidence for any out-of-body state and certainly none for having visited heaven (the books on visiting heaven have anti-Christian theology, conflict with God’s word, and/or present inconsistent accounts)”
“So when the group “Progressive Maryland” says that we are “operating on stolen land” and voluntarily paying “a monthly land tax to the Cedarville Band of Piscataway Indians,” they are laying the groundwork for what is to come – reparations from the citizens of the state of Maryland, to be copied on a national basis.”
“Leftists do not play by the rules of balanced discourse. Instead, they wield their power to suppress any ideology that contradicts their narrative, especially those rooted in Christianity or conservative values. This overreach is more than just a threat to individuals like David Bloch; it’s a threat to the very fabric of our society, undermining the foundational freedoms upon which our nation was built.”
“The f-word is now as common as “please,” bad grammar is a badge of honor, tattoos swallow up skin, and even the indigenous people of New Guinea are appalled by all the piercings.”
“Consumers’ perceptions of our position on matters of public interest, including our efforts to achieve certain of our environmental and social goals, often differ widely and present risks to our reputation and brands.”
“While the early Church was indeed characterized by the extraordinary offices of apostles and prophets, the New Testament does not teach their continuation after the apostolic age. Instead, it warns vehemently against false prophets and emphasizes the need for doctrinal vigilance.”
“Getting vaccinated is still really the most important way you can protect yourself and your family,” Cohen claimed, despite how people who have been vaccinated can still get the virus.
“Kinsey, a biologist who had conducted specialized research on gall wasps, was one of the most important figures driving a new and radical vision of human sex and sexuality in the 20th century. He arrived in Bloomington as a biologist, but his dark legacy has virtually nothing to do with gall wasps and everything to do with the fact that he was a deeply tormented man given to multiple forms of sexual deviancy whose ambition was to destroy traditional sexual morality and to liberate humanity into a new sexual age.”
“You’ve got two people running for president — one of them is literally senile,” Carlson said before noting that he doesn’t actually believe Biden is in charge of anything, “yet he’s standing for reelection at the age of 80.”
(David Ng) Former NSA and CIA chief Michael Hayden, who has fashioned a post-government career attacking and censoring conservatives, is spending his Thanksgiving week smearing patriotic American Christians who own firearms, claiming they are “no different” from Hamas terrorists.
In 2020, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich objected when the state of Pennsylvania adopted new election rules during the COVID pandemic that, in his view, invited cheating. He tweeted, “Pennsylvania democrats are methodically changing the rules so they can steal the election.”

“One revelation in the film that is astonishing is that the restraint he used, holding Floyd down with his knee was an accepted practice the police were trained in. Everyone lied about that.”
“Since when did such student guests in the United States feel empowered to shut down bridges during commute hours, tear down American flags on Veterans Day, and scout out and hunt-down Jewish-Americans on campus?”
(Katherine Hamilton – Breitbart) Harvard Medical School students are allowed to participate in transgender procedures in a course available in the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024, The College Fix
(Victoria Taft – PJ Media) Billionaire Elon Musk warned conservative media assassin Media Matters for America (MMFA) he’d sue the “news” outlet for not just lying about his Twitter/X platform, but for the mendacious way the George Soros-bankrolled website manipulated data to depict it as a racist outlet that is a “risky and unsafe platform for advertisers.”
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be equipped, having been thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (LSB)
“Every one of us ought to read the woes against the pharisees and tremble as we recognize that the judgment pronounced on them we also ought to face.”
The two execrable Republicans who were integral to the charade — “Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney — are no longer members of Congress, but they’re still skittish about being found out. Sen. Mike Lee from Utah is interested in officially exploring the committee’s selective editing…”
(Protestia) In late June of this year, residents of Murfreesboro in Tennessee passed an ordinance that critics say banned all public displays of homosexuality. At the time city officials were particularly concerned about banning Pride parades after last year’s festivities saw marchers in various stages of undress, and a “family-friendly” drag show saw the performer twerking and acting out sexually in front of children- something LGBTQ love seeing, but normal folks despise.
