“Thomas Jacobson of the Global Life Campaign notes that while Ginsburg quoted the Torah on the duty to do justice, she contradicted the Torah by supporting “the innocent bloodshed of babies in the womb, violating the justice requirements of the Law of God and the U.S. Constitution.” He added, “In God’s eyes, our greatest national sin may be the innocent bloodshed of more than 61.3 million babies….”
(Cliff Kincaid – Renew America) The New York Times headline, “As Nation Mourns Ginsburg, Trump Vows Nomination,” has two distortions. First, while many people are sorry to see her passing, the expression of deep sorrow is not something pro-life people would feel about someone whose rulings denied the humanity of the unborn…. According to Lucado, racism is the most ancient of sins, and he pleads with God for forgiveness and pleads with man to repent of it. Interestingly, they can never actually point out where it actually exists.”
“So if I’m a pastor or a priest that wants to keep drawing people to me, I’m not going to tell you everything. I don’t want you to be so good. I don’t want you to be so free. I don’t want you to be so free that you don’t need me, so and I’m going to give you a little bit of guilt. I’m gonna preach something that’s a little bit manipulative to keep you coming but we believe the opposite is true. If you preach the truth, people are going to want to keep finding that.”
“In 2008, Edir Macedo was arrested but not convicted of embezzling $2 billion.”
“[Abdullah] led the group in a ritual: the reciting of names of those taken by state violence before their time—ancestors now being called back to animate their own justice: ‘George Floyd. Asé. Philandro Castille. Asé. Andrew Joseph. Asé. Michael Brown. Asé. Erika Garner. Asé. Harriet Tubman. Asé. Malcom X. Asé. Martin Luther King. Asé.’”
“This week, Democrats openly threatened to destroy the Senate filibuster, a traditional mechanism for restraining bare majorities, most recently used by Democrats themselves to stymie COVID-19 relief funding. They also threatened to add new states to the union, specifically citing federal territories they believe will elect Democrats; and to pack the Supreme Court, reestablishing a Democratic-appointed majority by adding new seats.”
“Gov. Newsom has reportedly threatened to cut off power to any church that continues to meet in-person. Yet he is facing a large movement of civil disobedience. A network of California churches sued him last month and many churches throughout the state have vowed to hold in-person worship services despite the state ban on gatherings.”
And, here in Revelation, we learn that we will join Christ in opposing disobedience. And this is serious opposition, isn’t it? Ruling with a rod of iron. Shattering his enemies like clay pots. The Lord takes dealing with disobedience seriously. And this should get our attention. He takes obedience seriously. He rewards obedience. But He takes disobedience equally seriously. He responds with judgment.
One organizer shrieked at Lindsay Graham…”You are an old white man desperately clinging to power that you can’t hold onto much longer because we’re coming for it. And in the meantime, you are not filling that Supreme Court seat. Not on our watch. The people will decide who fills that seat. No justice, no sleep!”
“[W]hen J.K. Rowling imagined a criminal escaping by wearing a burqa, she wasn’t engaging in gratuitous “Islamophobia,” much less “transphobia,” but was simply reflecting reality. It is reality, however, that the Left is making war against. They’ll cancel everyone, no matter how famous, no matter how beloved, in order to push us all into accepting their fantasies about the world.”
“Kyle Rittenhouse fired four shots initially that night,” Carlson observed. “Another four were fired. We still don’t know who fired them, no one else has been arrested or charged.”
“Being a woman with children and grandchildren, Ginsburg had a special responsibility to recognize and uplift the function of motherhood. Instead, she presided over the buildup of the machinery of death, otherwise known as the abortion industry. The financial power of this industry is what drives the modern Democratic Party and the opposition to Trump.”
“What struck me at the time, and what strikes me again is why someone like Hatmaker, who is so infatuated with gaining earthly audiences and inviting the thunderous applause of men that she willfully invents her own religion, is so stubborn in her desire to rebrand her humanist idolatry as Christianity.”
“RZIM has infamously utilized NDA’s in the past, most recently when they continue to enforce one against Lori Anne Thompson, the woman at the center of the sexting scandal, who has repeatedly reached out to RZIM publicly and privately to beg them to release her, but to no avail.”
“Bokhari, author of #DELETED, has spent four years developing a network of whistleblowers in Silicon Valley. In the book, these sources tell the inside story of how the most powerful information technologies ever devised have been weaponized against President Trump and his movement.”
“Besides the fact that the Roman Catholic Church has historically held to a corrupt gospel for centuries — hence the reason for the Protestant Reformation — Francis’ move to the left on social issues in recent years is unprecedented, but not surprising.”
“Just like Israel in the Old Testament, we demand a king over us, and all the better if it is a king who is handsome and golden-tongued. And once we have that king, we refuse to believe he may be capable of the abuses we’ve already seen and been warned about so many times before.”
“The source of the purposeful disinformation pouring into the American public sphere like untreated sewage is the American elite, led by its tech oligarchs, who own the platforms on which information campaigns are staged and laundered to protect their core interests—foremost among them being cheap Chinese labor and access to Chinese markets.”
“A Canadian political science professor called for arson, prompting accusations he made a terroristic threat. “Burn Congress down before letting Trump try to appoint anyone to SCOTUS,” Waterloo professor Emmett MacFarlane tweeted.”
“TGC has a near-pathological aversion to engaging their critics, frequently posting without allowing people to comment on their content and rarely if ever deigning to respond to tweets asking for clarifying comments or questions about content they post. The fact that they have responded to a critic is a miracle indeed.”
“So in this post I want to look more carefully at that passage, and hopefully bring out some nuance that I fear many modern American Christians have lost when it comes to Paul’s interaction with Caesar.”
Woodson argued that the American principles that have inspired black people to rise above their circumstances are under threat from the 1619 Project, a “very corrosive and very dangerous challenge.”
“The fascination with Tim Keller in the Evangelical Church is mind-boggling. Tim Keller is not a faithful Christian teacher — he has proven this time and time again. He has radically departed from the orthodox teaching on the primary purpose of the gospel.”
“The most basic check on prosecutorial power is politics. It is counter-intuitive to say that, as we rightly strive to maintain an apolitical system of criminal justice. But political accountability—politics—is what ultimately ensures our system does its work fairly and with proper recognition of the many interests and values at stake. Government power completely divorced from politics is tyranny.”
